Tonight instead of unpacking... which I have a lot of unpacking to be doing... CAUSE I'M HOME!!! I am watching SYTCD and loving it... also i have bradleys old laptop. I am going through pictures I haven't seen in ages and didn't even remember!!! I thought oh my... I am starting to look old. Seriously... I used to have these like baby cheeks now i just look old. AHHH!!! Maybe that's why i don't look good without glasses anymore... hmm.. how to get baby cheek face back... it's a lost cause!
But i liked this picture in particular... because... It was the night I caught the bouquet at our friends Lacey and Jasons reception in october of 07. and my mother wanted a picture... brad was like are you kidding?? and I though we are totally getting married one day... and almost a year later we were!!! yay!!!
Oh how i miss this man... I miss his silly songs he sings to me.. how he is really really annoying in the morning... I miss his company more than anything!!!
In 2 and 1/2 weeks we will be celebrating our 3rd anniversary! I cannot believe that we have been married for 3 years!

ramblings...

Well Bradley and I have had a good few weeks since the last time I blogged.. We went to Lake Powell and then I stayed in Phoenix for a few more days which meant we spent almost an entire week together which hasn't happened since before he moved! My parents and Jenna came to visit for Fathers day which was nice. I love seeing family. We've eaten at many new resturaunts... brad's new hobby is buying GROUPONS, DOUBLE DAILY DEALS, AND LIVING SOCIAL COUPONS. It's been fun cause we always have something to do! While I was in Phoenix Bradley bought me a groupon to a hair salon called the DRY BAR. It's a fancy schmancy place in scottsdale that only washes your hair.. with a nice massage i might add... then blow dry and do your hair... um.. can I just say i don't think my hair had ever looked so good... only wish I was skilled enough to do it myself! That night once brad got off work we went to a buffet at one of the indian casinos. This was the night that crazy dust storm hit phoenix.. it was sooo crazy to see! I miss seeing him everyday sooo much!!! So.. one thing thats been boggling around on my mind is food stamps and our country's welfare program. Just a fore warning.... These are simply my thoughts, I truly do not mean to offend anyone. In my adult life Brad and I have been extremely lucky as far as finances go. We haven't had to worry about whether we made rent and ate and paid the rest of our bills. My family wasn't wealthy growing up, I don't know if my parents ever had to use food stamps or not. I don't think that the welfare program is a bad thing, I just think it isn't restricted enough and is sooooo abused!!! So...Brad and I were making our last minute grocery stops late saturday night. The couple in front of us, of course had their 3 year old with them... I still don't understand that... On the grocery conveyer belt thingy were like 5 things of pringles and a bag of chocolates among other "non-healthy junk foods". They used food stamps. For me as a person who loves junk food, I still consider it to be a privelege. If I have extra money I spoil myself and get a treat. I don't waste my food money on junk. and this is where I believe our welfare system has failed our country. It doesn't not promote healthy lifestyles or budgeting whatsoever!!! And I don't see how people don't have a problem with this! I truly don't mind that my tax dollars go to feed the hungry, but I would really prefer if they didn't go to making people and their children fat which results in more health issues that my tax dollars go to again to pay for their medicaid. So... I really want to look more into our welfare program and where it went wrong. Why aren't all food stamps like wic??? Wic makes perfect sense to me. It promotes healthy living. Food stamps that people can buy soda, chips, candy and waste it on that does not!! Well those are my two cents... its time to try to sleep now... hope the doggy doesn't wake me up at 4:00 in the morning.

We've got our sunglasses on... constantly... ITS GETTING HOT!!!! Little Anthony's Wipe Out.
After a Tucson Torros game we went to dessert with John and Megan.
First of all.... Little Anthony's is this 1950's themed ice cream shop. It is so fun!
This was our second time going there and we loved it! We decided to all share the WipeOut.
The WipeOut consists of 14 scoops of ice cream, ONE can of whipped cream, lots of v
anilla wafers, and brownies.. They turn on the song Wipeout and deliver this giant bowl on a surf board that says wipeout... haha it was hilarious!!!! And SOOO delicious!!!
We have been loving our weekends together! The weeks fly by and the weekends don't last long enough. The bbq is so nice. I miss bradleys grilling sooo much and we need to move asap to a place that allows our grill!!!! We went to the king tut show... i guess you could call it. they have all the things that were in his tomb and the history of it. I love egyptian history. It is so interesting! We were asked to teach the temple prep class at church. I'm really excited! I think it will help us to get an even better understanding of the temple and its importance. This Sunday I am teaching the MiaMaids about part of the temple. I am so excited! I love the Young Women and I really wish I could be a leader! Last Friday I got to talk to them at girls camp about the importance of getting an education and how they can't just wait for their prince charming to come along. All of these assignments must mean something!!! So...before I got asked to talk to the YW about education I had been pretty content on never going back to school even though deep down inside I knew I needed to! Sooooo... after contemplating what I should go back to school for I have decided... dun dun dun... Paralegal! I really want an office job. I need a big change of scenery!!! I want to dress up and be a professional!!! and a perk is that i will know what the heck my husband is talking about all the time and even help him out once in a while when I become a stay at home mom. So I start my 2 year program in the fall and I couldn't be more excited! I can't wait to have social interactions.... fill my time with useful things and challenge my brain... it needs some challenging! Wish me luck!

Well tonight there was a Relief Society ice cream and family history social. I have to admit I love family history, but I only really like finding out how people lived, their life story, and what they thought about life. I think I've posted about this before, but I am so grateful for the treasures my grandparents gave to me that are their personal histories! Thanks grandma and grandpa Larson. They have always been such a great example to me and are amazing people. I have enjoyed reading their stories and thoughts and I will forever treasure them! They are serving their third mission for our church currently in Philadelphia the other missions they've been on have been to Cyprus and Italy. (for those of you who aren't LDS.. seniors who are retired often go on missions to work as missionaries,be mission presidents, or work in the office! They help keep all the 19-21 year old missionaries in line and help the missions run smoothly, send missionaries home and receive new ones.) I've enjoyed communicating with them through emails on their missions. I know that it has brought us so much closer together and has blessed our lives. I feel like I know them better than my other grandparents and am saddened I don't have the same opportunities with everyone. I'm also grateful for how they embraced and welcomed brad to our family with love. I love having enjoyed time with my grandparents together especially when we shared our engagement with them. I could see how proud of us and happy for us they were. I hope that I will be able to give my posterity as much information on my life as they have given me. I love you grandma and grandpa!

This Memorial day we ventured out to Bisbee, AZ. It was the cutest little place! I want to stay there for a weekend sometime... It began as a mining town way way back in the day. It's full of bed and breakfasts, antique shops, art galleries, and of course a mine! The town is built in a crevice of a mountain basically and there are stairs going all the way up the hills. I could explore for a really really long time. We ate at a cute place called the bisbee breakfast club and I bought a golden owl with glass eyes from the 60's... my plan is to do an owl nursery one day... hopefully i still like owls a ton at that point.... I'm probably gonna spray paint this one blue/pink... Its gonna be cute.... anyways here are some pics!
Brad's Grandpa passed away a couple weeks ago i have yet to post about this. It was definitely better that he passed on. And i know that he died of a broken heart. He died exactly a year after his sweethearts funeral. They had been together since high school and to me that is true love. I'm greatful to know that they are together again forever. so here are a couple of pics from that.
How classy do they look??? I love this picture!

Being alone is still just as hard, but it's getting easier. The weeks go by fast simply because I look forward to seeing him so much!!! I'm house sitting now and I love this doggy that i'm watching her name is Zia and she is a big dog with lots of love! It's great to have a bbq, pool and hot tub... and most importantly... a WASHER AND DRYER!!!! how am i ever going to go back to our apartment??? just kidding I really miss our little home.. I miss my things that make it my own. Anyways... thats all for tonight!

I feel as if I am living a double life. ha During the week-I keep thinking Bradley will be sitting at the desk studying when I get home or lounging around on the couch watching tv or checking on his fantasy baseball team. it's like a part of me is dead during the week. ugh. BUT! It makes the weekend even more worth it! You take for granted all the little things that your spouse does for you. You literally enjoy every moment together. I cry every night still-think i will this whole summer, but i have been able to sleep pretty well. On the Weekend-I have a husband! yay! haha this weekend we were able to spend almost 3 days together just enjoying life. One thing about being in phoenix is that we don't really have errands to run like we would at home.... so we get to relax and do whatever we want. We attended the temple, shopped around-bradley got his first pair of 7's... i was so proud of him and they look very very good on him! We explored phoenix and ate at a delicious little pizza place. mmm.. It was so nice just to be with brad i really could have sat there all day and be fine with it. He doesn't have internet or tv so there werent any distractions like there are at home. It was very nice. I know he misses it a lot though! I sure love my bradley and miss him like crazy.... SOOO... this week I start house sitting... anyone wanna come visit me???? I'll have a pool... and a hot tub... and a WAY cool house! come on you know you wanna!!!! On another note... I've decided to make a taggie blanket for a friend... i've actually bought the supplies.. IT will happen!!!! I'll post pictures when I'm done!

Isn't my mommy beautiful??? I love her so much! She is so amazing and has gone through a lot in life. I'm so glad she has always been there for me and has been the greatest mom ever.
Well Brad is off at the library studying... he's been there all week. I'm a loser sitting here at home. Bradley keeps reminding me that next week we will part ways and I will leave him in his new apartment in phoenix. AHHH... what are we thinking??? Sorry if this summer presents depressing posts... however..there are a few things I'm looking forward to in the next little bit... The first of those is for the Ensign to come out from conference. I love reading the words of the prophet and apostles of our church and the changes that I need to make in order for my life to be going the way it should. I love this gospel so much and don't know who I would be without it. I love the wholesomeness of my life and my relationship and eternal marriage with brad. The church is true! I'm also looking forward to lots of sewing. I want to sew curtains for our room- i haven't done much decorating in there.. we just have our lovely bedroom set... but that's my goal this summer is to decorate it. I'm looking forward to how this distance that Brad and I will face will affect our relationship. Distance makes the heart grow fonder right? I'm hoping so. We will celebrate our 3rd anniversary this summer. can you believe it??? I sure can't! The past three years have flown by, but they have been absolutely amazing! anyways... happy mothers day!
